Our Commitment

Wikitinerary is committed to making our travel planning platform usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. We are working to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely-recognized standard for web accessibility.

Measures We Have Taken

Skip-to-content link on every page for keyboard and screen reader users
Descriptive aria-labels on icon-only buttons and interactive controls
Labeled form fields with associated label elements throughout account and trip-planning flows
Semantic HTML structure and heading hierarchy to support screen reader navigation
Color choices reviewed for contrast against WCAG AA thresholds

Known Limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. We are aware of the following gaps and are actively working through them:

Some modal dialogs do not yet fully trap keyboard focus
The trip itinerary carousel does not yet implement the full ARIA carousel pattern for keyboard navigation
A small number of UI elements are being reviewed for color contrast refinements
