Aggressive Timeshare PitchesTour / Guide Scam
Timeshare touts on the Hotel Zone strip and at the airport use "free" excursions, discount cards, or breakfast offers to lure visitors into multi-hour sales presentations. The U.S. Embassy has specifically warned about aggressive and sometimes fraudulent timeshare sales practices here.
Fake "Tourist Information" BoothsCommon Scam
Unofficial booths (not the official kiosks) sometimes sell excursions that don't exist or are drastically different from what's advertised. Book tours through your hotel or a well-reviewed operator instead.
Hotel Zone vs. Outside AreasGeneral
