South Haven is Lake Michigan's sweetest summer secret — a compact harbor town where a legendary red lighthouse anchors the mouth of the Black River, blueberry farms ring the county roads, and South Beach delivers some of the best freshwater swimming in the country. Van Buren County produces more blueberries than any other county in America, and the South Haven Blueberry Festival in August turns the whole town into a celebration.
