Four days at Walt Disney World — Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios for Batuu, EPCOT, and Animal Kingdom — planned to avoid the peak-season crush.
Magic Kingdom is the emotional core of Walt Disney World — Cinderella Castle, the Main Street parade, and Space Mountain. Rope drop at 9 AM for the mountains (Space, Big Thunder, Splash). Use Disney Lightning Lane for the festival-style approach.
Disney's Lightning Lane (formerly FastPass+) is no longer free — it's $15–25/person/day for the base tier and $15–40 per ride for the premium tier. Plan this into your budget. The app is the control panel for the whole trip — download it before you go.
If staying on Disney property, the free bus, monorail, and Skyliner gondola system covers all four parks. The Skyliner (connecting Epcot and Hollywood Studios to the Caribbean Beach and Art of Animation hotels) is genuinely fun. Off-property guests must drive or Uber to each park.
On-property hotel at moderate price — themed as a Louisiana plantation, good pool complex, and the Sassagoula River waterfront. Free Disney transport to all parks. Rates $200–320/night in season.
Galaxy's Edge rope drop — get a boarding pass for Rise of the Resistance in the app the second the park opens. Tower of Terror in the afternoon. Fantasmic show at night.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge (Batuu) is the most impressive themed land Disney has ever built — Rise of the Resistance is the crown jewel ride. Savi's Workshop (lightsaber building, $220) is worth booking for serious fans. Tower of Terror is the adult favorite.

Animal Kingdom is the most underrated Disney park — Kilimanjaro Safari (real African wildlife, not fake), Pandora: World of Avatar (Flight of Passage is the best Disney ride), and the best landscaping in the resort. Get there at opening for the Safari when the animals are most active.
Last day — EPCOT is the most adult-friendly Disney park. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is the current headliner. World Showcase for lunch and dinner — eat at least one actual meal in a pavilion restaurant.
