Days 1 and 2 follow the Cedar Point coaster weekend itinerary — Steel Vengeance, Millennium Force, Maverick, and the complete coaster circuit. Stay on-site at Cedar Point Breakers or Castaway Bay for Early Entry access.
Drive to the Jet Express dock in Sandusky (or Port Clinton, 40 min west) for the ferry to Put-in-Bay. The Jet Express from Sandusky docks is 22 minutes. Rent a golf cart on arrival — the island has no traffic lights and no need for a car.
Rent a golf cart at the dock (Tipper's, De's, or any of the rental shops on Delaware Ave — $80–100 for a half day). Circle the island: Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial (the tallest Doric column in the world, elevator to the top, free), South Bass Island State Park, and Butterfly House. The island is 4 miles long and fully explorable in a golf cart in 2 hours.
The Jet Express runs from downtown Sandusky at the Causeway dock (free parking, $27 round-trip adult, $14 child). Runs every 30–60 minutes in season. Book online for weekends — it sells out. The 22-minute crossing gives a clear view of Cedar Point's coaster skyline from the water.
