Car rentals are at the airport — book in advance in high season. Minimum age is 21 at most companies. CDW insurance is strongly recommended given the narrow roads on the east end. Island is small; you will not get lost.

Cemetery Beach has a reef 50 yards from shore accessible from the public beach. Free, no booking required. You'll see parrotfish, angelfish, and the occasional eagle ray. Bring your own gear or rent from a shop on West Bay Road.
Group boat tours are fine for families — kids above 3 can do it. The stingrays are used to people and barbs are not a concern in the sandbar setting. Morning tours have fewer people. Budget $45–55/adult, $30/child.
Casual waterfront bar and grill in George Town — the fish tacos and conch fritters are the family-friendly staples. Sits over the water, open-air. Kids can watch the fish swim below the dock while you eat.
The oldest stone building in the Cayman Islands — a colonial great house on a cliff with an excellent multimedia history presentation and views over the south shore. More interesting for older kids. $10/adult, $5/child.
